Fine pair of green woodpeckers by renowned Victorian taxidermist J.Hutchings of Aberystwyth

The birds are set in a naturalistic woodland scene and perched upon a wooden branch with surrounding undergrowth

Hutchings work was of superior quality and this is a fine example. 

The front beading does have slight damage and has been painted some time ago.
